The Restoration Initiative is a program that is designed to seek out those in need and bless them by providing repurposed home furnishings and decorative finishes resulting in filling homes and hearts with hope.
Hurricane Harvey Relief
We are committed to helping rebuild our community and lives that have been affected! No matter who you are, you hold something within your hands that can make a difference. Project 828's mission is to bring hope and light into the difficult and hard places of life!
Our programs are designed to bless those in need where children are affected. We are already collaborating with leaders within the greater Houston area on events that our program, Play With Purpose Sports, can help with and leaders within the furniture and housing industry for our program Restoration Initiative to jump in.
If you have a child that plays sports, they can help! If you are creative or are a designer, you can help! If you have been blessed and you want to donate financially, your tax-deductable donation would be greatly appreciated. We have little overhead and yet have been blessed to donate nearly 100% of what we have raised this year to date.
Play With Purpose Sports
Play with Purpose Sports is a program that has a two-fold objective, it develops selfless attitudes within young athletes that call them to sacrifice and think past the moment at hand and use their gifts and devotion to make a difference by helping raise money for orphans and at risk children locally and world-wide.
Have a look around at our initiatives, Play with Purpose Sports and
Restoration Initiative to see if there is a place that you can plug in and give
back or donate to directly impact the lives of countless people.
Project 828 is a non-profit organization that acts as a hub to bring good out of situations that are oppressive, adverse and broken by creating aid and helping enhance the quality of life of disadvantaged families and at risk children. Since its inception, Project 828 has developed a program that calls out the young and old alike to become leaders within their communities by empowering them to make a difference in the lives of others.
“They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.”
