Kaden's Classic 2018

Our 2nd Kaden's Classic far outweighed all of our expectations. This year the event was hosted by our program Play With Purpose Sports held at College Park High School on September 28th. The evening was in honor of Kaden Serafin who lost his battle to Ewing's Sarcoma in October of 2016. Kaden was an amazing friend, athlete and light as he impacted his fellow classmate and teachers and a true example of a leader.

The event featured professional dunkers and the girl's and boy's basketball teams as they competed with their dads on the court. The number of student volunteers and participants was amazing and showed as we raised thousands of dollars for those that struggle with cancer. Play With Purpose awarded The Sunshine Kids with a check for $3000 and are in the process of choosing a senior that has survived cancer as the first recipient of The Play With Purpose Sports Kaden's Classic Scholarship.
